The short version
- We only collect what you choose to send us through our forms, plus basic server logs.
- This website runs no advertising pixels, third-party analytics or tracking cookies.
- We never sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Please never send patient health information through this website.
1. Who we are
Synilic (“Synilic”, “we”, “us”) is a marketing agency for healthcare professionals and healthcare companies. We operate the website at synilic.com and are responsible for the personal information collected through it.
This policy covers visitors to our website, people who request an audit or contact us, and newsletter subscribers. It does not cover data we process on behalf of clients while delivering services. That processing is governed by our client agreements and, where protected health information is involved, a Business Associate Agreement.
2. Health information
Our website forms are designed for business inquiries only. Please do not submit protected health information (PHI) or any details about a patient's health, diagnosis or treatment. If you are a patient, please contact your healthcare provider directly.
If we receive health information through this website by mistake, we will delete it as soon as we notice it.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
| When | What we collect |
|---|---|
| Free growth audit or contact form | Your name and work email (required), and optionally your phone number, website, organization type, services of interest, budget range and a message about your goals. |
| Newsletter sign-up | Your email address. |
| Emailing us directly | Your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. |
Information collected automatically
Like every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time of your visit. These logs are used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems.
Our fonts, images and scripts are served from our own domain, so loading this website does not send your information to font, analytics or advertising companies.
4. How we use your information
- To reply to your inquiry and prepare your free growth audit, strategy call and proposal.
- To send The Healthy Pipeline newsletter if you subscribed. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To operate, secure and improve our website and prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Legal bases for processing
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent, for the newsletter and when you submit a form. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Steps before a contract, when you ask us for an audit or proposal.
- Legitimate interests, to run and secure our website and respond to business inquiries, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation, where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
6. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host and form processor (Netlify) and our email and newsletter provider. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
- A successor business, if Synilic is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
7. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. It does not set cookies for marketing purposes.
If we add analytics or similar tools in the future, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
8. How long we keep it
- Inquiries and audit requests: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case our client agreement applies.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. We then keep only what we need to honor your opt-out.
- Server logs: according to our hosting provider's standard retention periods.
9. How we protect it
Every page and form submission is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. We limit access to personal information to people who need it, protect our accounts with multi-factor authentication, and use reputable providers with strong security programs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive your information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
To use any of these rights, email hello@synilic.com. We will respond within the time required by law, usually within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
11. California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, and to request access, correction and deletion. The categories we collect are identifiers and contact details, professional information you choose to share, and internet activity in server logs, for the purposes described above.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require an opt-out. We honor Global Privacy Control signals. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
12. International transfers
We and our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
13. Children's privacy
This website is intended for healthcare professionals and businesses. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website or the law changes. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date above. If a change is significant, we will give more prominent notice.
